Anyone involved with a shelter or a rescue will tell you that spring is one of the busiest times of the year. This is often related to an abundance of unwanted pups and kittens being born and running loose. Sad but true.
But this year… and really not exactly sure as to the reason why, it has been busy for a different reason… a very happy reason. We have had an unprecedented amount of adoptions, especially in the past week or so. Happy, happy news!! We hope this trend continues.
Over 20 doggies have been adopted in the past 10 days.. WooHoo!

We are all so very happy! Some of these dogs have been waiting months for their forever homes. I can not remember when we have had so many empty kennels. :)
