Welcome to week 22 of the Pet Photographers Project 52 blog circle. The theme for this week is “Yellow”.
The winter past was long and cold… the spring, damp and chilly. But now yellow dandelions adorn the open fields and the yellow sun shares a welcoming warmth.
This week we opened our seasonal site at St. Malo, Manitoba. From May through September, this is our home away from home, our summer happy place. It felt so good to once more walk amongst the dandelions.
“Dandelions, like all things in nature, are beautiful when you take the time to pay attention to them.” ~June Stoyer

Love the perspective on the dandelions. They look like a neat blanket.

I love it when they are so thick they resemble a bright yellow carpet. :)

Dandelions are actually a favorite of mine. I know many people think they are weeds, but they have nutrients, our horses love to eat them out of the pasture, and they are the first flowers for the bees. Great photos!

I must admit that I am not crazy about them in my own yard but I absolutely love them in open fields.
