Journey 2018 Day 363 – light pillars

Light pillars danced through out our Manitoba sky.

The cold continues. But so does the beauty…

“When it gets cold enough for ice crystals to form in the air, light pillars can appear before your very eyes. Natural and artificial light reflects off the crystals as they suspend in midair, creating pillars of vibrant color that shoot into the sky and give the illusion that you’re about to be beaned up on an episode of Star Trek.”

Journey 2018 Day 362 – sundogs

The weather has turned cold… most likely the coldest it has been so far this winter.

But with the cold comes beauty…

A winter rainbow…

“There was such a glory over everything. The sun came up like gold through the trees, and I felt like I was in heaven.”
~ Harriet Tubman
